DAILEY, Infant child
1892 – July 1892
Father: Mr. Dailey
Source: “Greeley’s Golden Years, Vol. 2, 1837 – 2001”
By Dorothy Kipper Lickteig
July 29, 1892 – “An infant child of Mr. Dailey, who lives on the Ambrose place, died Saturday, and on Sunday was buried in Sutton Valley cemetery.”
A relationship is unknown, but there is a Lucinda Dailey buried in the Sutton Valley cemetery. Mrs. Dailey died Feb. 21, 1891.
Obviously Lucinda Dailey could not be the mother of the infant Dailey because Lucinda was 63 years old at the time of her death.

MASSEY, Charles W.
abt. Nov. 9, 1848 – Jan. 5, 1871
Parents: Unknown
Remarks: The January 11, 1872 newspaper reported the death of William Massey, who was the son-in-law of John Poplin.
Sense Charles W. Massey is buried near the Poplins it might be assumed that Charles W. Massey and William Massey could be the same person. However the difference in the years on the headstone (1871) and newspaper account (1872) do give reason for some doubt.
