The Franklin County Genealogical Society is a non profit organization formed in 1992 to promote genealogy in the Ottawa and Franklin County area. Our membership dues are $15.00 per year.  As a member you help support our society and what we do, and you also receive four issues of our "Quarterly Magazine," which comes out around February, May, August, and November, of each calendar year.

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of the Month (except December), at 2:00pm in the Conference Room of Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa, Kansas, at the corner of 13th & Main street. Our meeting's are open to the public.  A typical meeting consists of a business meeting and a speaker on a topic of interest to genealogists.
