Presbyterian revival.

"A bridge has been built over the branch of Coal Creek near W. H. Adams which renders the road passable with a team if not heavily loaded."

"Last Friday while Mrs. Martin was out milking, some unknown person or persons entered the house and helped themselves to bread, fried sausage cakes and apples from the kitchen, and a hat and necktie from the bedroom."

"Meeting of Old Soldiers. At the close of Decoration exercises at Pomona on Memorial day May 30, 1891, a number of old soldiers met at Krauses hall as per previous announcement, to discus the question of organizing a GAR Post at Pomona. Meeting called to order by Comrade J. K. Bailey. Comrade J. L. Hummel, Calhoun, Vickers, and Swayze. On motion it was agreed that, those desiring to form an organization sign a roll, together with a payment of 50 cents each. All present signed the roll; 22 names, Receipts $11.

On motion of Comrade Bailey a vote of thanks was tendered to Rev. Dr. Davis, Rev. Mr. Rose, the WCTU, and Loyal Legion for services rendered the old soldiers in the Memorial and Decoration exercises of the day. On motion, ordered that a meeting be held at Krauses Hall, Saturday evening, June 6, at 7:30 pm to take further steps in organizing a post, and that all old soldiers of Pomona and vicinity be cordially requested to be present. On motion, further ordered that a copy of the proceedings of the meeting be sent to the Pomona Enterprise and Ottawa Republican for publication.
